Return to iLearn Literacy

Dear Presenter(s),

Please download the original training documents from the training site, and then revise and edit as you deem necessary. If you believe that there should be NO CHANGE to a session, please write NO CHANGE on each relevant line in the outline below so that I know you believe it is well written and complete. If you make changes, please save the new document with a similar but new title (perhaps with your initials in the file name) and then post it here.

To post, please click on "Edit this Page" then click on the "Tree" icon in the toolbar above. Follow directions from there, but please be sure to put the link to your document on the appropriate line in the outline below.

Thanks!
Heather

Facilitator Agenda -Include the fact that the outline format may not be visually differentiated enough for certain students. An alternative would be to use a different text color for each of the essay components. For example, your thesis statement might be green, a reason blue, and supporting evidence red.

Notes - the content of this lesson (taking your draft, putting it into inspiration, adding transition words) is something that we might want to revisit this fall. As it is written, it's fine for teaching INspiration. However, not all participants (non iTiL) have this program, so rewrite this where participants color code essay components & then use the doc already available to add transition - ex: add comment as to why they did this
